Stephen Hepworth is a British born Art curator and Consultant who has curated and organized over Eighty exhibitions in Europe and the USA. He is the director of the kiki kogelnik Foundation and is based in New York.

In London he was: Director, The Tannery (1995-97); Director, Jerwood Gallery; (1998-2001); and Curator, Bloomberg SPACE (2002-07).

He moved to the United States in 2007 to relaunch the University Art Gallery at University of California San Diego moving to New York to become Director of Programs, Participant INC, (2009-10), and was until recently the Director of Collections at the Reversible Destiny Foundation (2014-2019); which was founded by Arakawa, the Japanese Born artist and Architect, and his American Wife, the Poet and Philosopher, Madeline Gins.

His independent projects include: the touring exhibition Tailsliding for British Council (2001-2003); View Finder, Arnolfini, UK (2002); and Into My World, Recent British Sculpture, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield, CT. (2004).
